On Thursday, April 20 2017 current and former Churchill Show comedians led by the show’s patron Churchill aka Mwalimu King’ang’i held an emotional show at the Carnivore Grounds in honor of their fallen colleague Emmanuel Makori alias Ayeiya.
As reported by TUKO.co.ke earlier,Ayeiya met his untimely death on the morning of Friday, April 14, in a grisly road accident near the Catholic University in Nairobi.
The Churchill Show team and Kenyans thronged Carnivore Grounds where they honored the late Ayeiya in various ways.
From lighting candles to replaying the comedian’s best moments while he was still alive, Carnivore Grounds did not come short of Ayeiya’s vibe.
Witty comedian Chipukeezy touched countless hearts as he took to stage on Ayeiya’s Tribute Show.
The comedian rekindled Ayeiya’s memories in one of the most dramatic ways.
The Mlolongo-born-and-raised comedian took to stage wearing Ayeiya’s signature flat cap and a briefcase with ‘AKA’ printed on it.
The highlight of the night was when the Churchill team decided to direct all the proceeds from the show to Ayeiya’ family.
The fallen comedian will be laid to rest on Friday, April 21 2017 in Nyansiongo,Kisii.
