Former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja may soon dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for the Alliance for Democracy (AD), DAILY POST exclusively gathered.
A close ally to the ex-governor and one of the members of the present State Executive Committee of the party, who asked not to be named because he was not authorised to speak on the matter, confirmed this development Saturday evening.
Ladoja had threatened to dump the party due to what he called impunity.
Though the source did not state exact time or place of Ladoja’s declaration for AD, the source said going by the present state of things, the ex-governor “is likely to announce any moment from now.”
He said “Yes. It is true (exit from PDP). You know I am not authorised to say that.
“He is likely to dump PDP for AD any moment from now. But we are still waiting.”
