JUST IN: Nigerian Govt Approves 6 New Private Universities — OsunDefender

The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved six new private universities across the country.

The approval was granted, Wednesday, during a meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, which held at the council chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, briefed State House correspondents at the end of the meeting which was presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The universities include Admiralty University, Ibusa, Delta State; Spiritan University, Nneochi, Abia State; Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan; Pamo University of Medical Sciences, Port Harcourt, Rivers State; Atiba University, Oyo State; and Eko University of Medical and Health Sciences Lagos.
