Comfort Ekaette Inyang, the best graduating student of Babcock University, Ilishan, Ogun State, is a wise virgin. The 21- year -old Computer Science graduate topped the 2015/2016 session, finishing in First Class division with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.96.
Inyang said she set the goal to become the best student right from her first day in the university and was never distracted by frivolities. “I was very focused, never had a boyfriend on campus but had close friends who supported me. I was actively involved in school activities. I had a timetable and I adhered strictly to it”.
For falling in love with her books, she smiled home with four academic awards, including the Vice Chancellor’s prize for the best graduating student. She said the university had shaped her life positively, paving her successful career path.
“Babcock University not only taught me but also showed me that it is possible to excel in every aspect of my life without compromising my dream and aspirations. This institution also opened my eyes to the challenges that confront Nigeria and has taught me that I can be a vital part of the solution”, she said.
