A 30-year-old man, Lukman Hassan, who allegedly defrauded one Mr. Yinka Adebayo of N5,000, was, on Monday, brought before an Ota Magistrates Court in Ogun State.
Hassan, who resides at No. 42 Oreola Street, Temidire, Ota, is facing a two-count charge of stealing and obtaining money under false pretence.

In his ruling, the Senior Magistrate, Mr S. O. Banwo, granted him bail in the sum of N75,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He said the sureties should reside within the court’s jurisdiction and they should swear to an affidavit of means.
